Looking at the screenshots you're probably thinking that Parachute Panic Lite is an 11-year-old's homework assignment. In actual fact, it's an entertaining and engrossing iPhone game.

The object of Parachute Panic Lite is to guide the falling stickmen parachutists onto the boats. You do this by tapping on them as they fall in order to open their chutes. You may also need to steer them, which you can do by tapping next to them and dragging in the direction you want the wind to blow them.

Parachute Panic Lite is a highly-stylized game which is original and inventive. It has a humorous and light-hearted feel to it, from the acapella soundtrack to the humorous animations that play out whenever one of your guys falls to his death. Variations in the gameplay such as helicopters, sharks and storm clouds help to prevent too much repetition in the game.

This lite version of Parachute Panic is a little disappointing in terms of the amount of content you get. It should only take you about 10 minutes to complete, and the game is without its full acapella soundtrack.

Original and fun to play, Parachute Panic Lite is a fun way to kill some time on a long plane flight. Actually, maybe just save it for the bus or train.
